Our Story

BrewHaHa began in 2007 when a group of dedicated individuals created a Halloween event to raise funds for therapy for deaf and hard-of-hearing children. Since then, known for its great food and wacky fun, fire cannons and gothic mermaids, BrewHaHa has made many fans. In 2015, the BrewHaHa Foundation was formed to continue the mission of funding and support of under-resourced organizations that make a real difference for children in need. Over the years, BrewHaHa has partnered with five different Tampa Bay charitable organizations. Together, we’ve raised funds for services for profoundly deaf children, provided college scholarships for severely disabled children from low-income families, furnished proesthetics and wheelchairs for disabled children, enabled support services for children with cancer, and provided services and support for children in our foster care system.

The Final Spell Has Been Cast

It has been a great run indeed! But alas, our Witches are now called to cast their care-giving spells in new and different ways. So, for many reasons, BrewHaHa 2018 will be our last. We hope that you will jump on board and fly with us as we work to leverage BrewHaHa’s innovative, over-the-top party experience for our guests, our sponsors and most of all, our wonderful charity partner, Angels Against Abuse. With many thanks to our sustaining sponsors, new sponsors, in-kind sponsors, honored guests and many volunteers, we tip our pointy hats to you for your lasting kindness and generosity. And, as always, we’ll be lurking for you!
