“No Physical Impairment Should Deter a Motivated Mind.”
ChairScholars Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity based in the Tampa bay area, was founded in 1992 by Dr. Hugo and Alicia Keim because they felt a deep desire to help young people with physical disabilities achieve independence and economic stability. The sole mission of the ChairScholars Foundation is to provide scholarships for college or vocational trsaining to low-income children with serious physical disabilities. To date, ChairScholars has awarded 769 scholarships in the Tampa Bay Area and across the United States.
